How to make your home the most sought after property

Properties are personal preferences. They define your personality. They define you! With homes defining our personalities, we tend to put in a lot of our likes and dislikes together to put up a decent looking home.

You may have done up your house pretty well by using the best home decors, good illumination, etc. but what sets your home apart from others? It is the costly display of things? Or is it the locality your house is located? The locality does matter to a certain extent though but not completely. Then what does it take to get your house on the priority list of buyers?

There were these two houses on the same lane which were on sale at the same time. One of the houses was sought by most buyers while the other one was still managing to attract the attention of the buyers. Now being on the same lane, what could possibly be the secret behind it? Would you like to know? The answer is – Automation. Yes you heard it right. One of the houses was automated and hence attracted more attention.

When you have options, you always have a choice. And we always choose what is unique and comfortable for us. Everybody wants their home to be the best and to reflect warmth in every possible way. But what can we do to make it attract more attention? A simple way is to automate your home. Believe me, it will fetch you good returns.

When you have an automated solution for your home, you need not talk about it; the automation will speak for itself. Automation not only adds value to the property but also makes your life comfortable in every possible way. A one time investment will give you a lifetime of good returns.

Imagine the life then and now. It was so difficult to monitor activities going on at your residence and today at the touch of a button everything is possible. Things have changed drastically and for better. Today we can create a secure environment for us. All this is because of automation. Automation has set a new beginning for everyone.

What is Smoke Detector?

A Smoke Detector is a photoelectric sensor which isdesigned to raise an alarm after a certain density of smoke is filled up in a chamber or a particular area. This product when used in combination with other safety products helps to monitor an individual property or a villa making it secure.

Applications:

  •   Residences
  •  Offices
  •   Schools
  • Hospitals
  • Godowns
  • Chemical Industries
  • Hotels

Smoke Detectors can be used in various industries to provide a safe and secure environment. The products are usually easy to install, test and use. It is one of the best precautions you can take against unknown dangers.

Is it necessary that you should act after the harm is done? Not actually. Is it not always better to act before? And especially when you know that there is a probability of the incident taking place. You can never assume what the future holds for you. You should always be prepared for everything and if you take necessary precautions regarding the same, it is always better.

We always warn children to avoid going near fire. Many a times we know that they are far away from it, but we do that as a precautionary measure. Why do we do this? This is because there is always a possibility of things happening the way we don’t imagine.

In case of children we are able to warn them because we can foresee the future in case of a mishap. But what when the future is unknown?  This is the time when we need something that can be of great help to us.

A Smoke Detector is one product which warns the resident when an area is filled up with a certain density of smoke. Smoke filling up an area can prove fatal at times. The smoke can lead to choking of the resident or more than that…To be safe, install a Smoke Detector. The product detects whenever there is excess smoke and beeps loudly which warns the resident about the emergency. If it is connected to the Smart Phone Control, you get a notification on your phone and a message alert or a SMS about the occurred incident which helps you to take necessary action regarding the same.

The advantage with Smoke Detectors is – even if you are away from your home and an incident is detected, you can ask someone to handle it by the time you get there in real time. So it helps save a lot of mishaps that can cost someone their life.

Ensuring patient comfort with Hospital Automation Solutions

We have entered the 21st century and the hospital industry is trending tremendously. The facilities then and now show a clear graph of the changing times of the hospital industry. Patient care was a tedious task then but now it has been simplified keeping in mind the necessities and the convenience of the patient and the nursing staff.

Attending the patients well and making them feel confident is what has to be the aim of the hospital staff.

Address their needs

When a person is confined to bed, he/she obviously needs assistance. This is the time when the nursing staff is expected to address their needs. What may seem to be an easy task for you might be a difficult one for them. For e.g. turning on/off the fans, lights, etc. Now as they are confined to bed, they are unable to perform these day to day activities and might depend on you for the same. Unable to perform simple activities may lead to a sense of discomfort and irritation among them. This is the time when you have to make them feel positive about themselves.
However, there is a solution to this now. Many companies have come up with Hospital Automation Solutions. It is a new experience altogether. The automation solutions are designed keeping in mind the user point of view. Hospital Automation includes various products which suffices the common problems of the ailing or physically incompetent individual.
There are remote controls, various sensors, patient call monitoring system, systems for the nursing and management staff, etc. These products are built for the convenience of individuals.

Make them independent

The individuals who are admitted in the hospital obviously need your attention but ensure that you make them confident and not dependent. How can this be done? The answer to this is mentioned above i.e. with the help of automation solutions. These solutions provide you with complete control over the electrical devices in the room. For e.g. Instead of always depending on someone or calling out to someone for basic things like turning on/off the fans, lights, etc., the individual can be provided with a remote control which is wireless and can be operated easily.
This way they don’t feel that they are a burden to someone else. Also it reduces manual stress as it doesn’t need the intervention of an outsider.

Many hospitals are switching to Hospital Automation Solutions. There are various companies providing products for the same. visit: www.buildtrack.in

Home Security with Gas Sensor

Cooking is an integral part of our daily routine. There is no house without a kitchen area. But it does happen that while cooking you tend to overlook the gas at times and leave it open. This may prove to be dangerous given the fact that the leaked gas travels quickly with air and is flammable. If there is a gas leak and it comes in contact with the slightest flame, it may prove fatal to your life.

You may be able to sense the gas leak while in the kitchen or near to it but this cannot be controlled while being away from the kitchen. This is the time when gas sensors come to your rescue. They are placed near the gas to sense leakage of gas if any and to alert accordingly.

There are dangerous incidents taking place due to gas leaks. The gas sensor is a device which saves you from assumed danger. It alerts you by beeping loudly whenever there is a gas leak. It is quite possible that you are sitting far away from the kitchen and might not sense the gas leak easily. But with a gas sensor, you are intimated immediately, as soon as there is a gas leak. This further helps you to take necessary precautions.

It is not necessary that you have to act after a thing has occurred. When you get yourself insured for an accident, does it mean that you ARE going to meet with an accident? The answer depends on possibilities. There is a possibility of you meeting or escaping an accident. But we insure ourselves to make sure that in the worst situation, we should have something to fall back on. The same applies to gas sensors. Installing it at home doesn’t necessarily mean your house will catch fire but with gas sensors we cut out the chances of danger.

These sensors are really helpful when you have kids or elders at home. You may sense the smell of gas but not necessarily the kids and elders. And this may be really dangerous in your absence.

Installing a gas sensor will lead to accurate detection of leaks and in turn will give out a loud beep. Even if the kids and elders can’t sense the smell properly, the beep would at least alert them about something unusual going on in the house and precautions for the same can be taken accordingly.

Senior Living Automation – Starting a new chapter in life

When it comes to the elderly, the most common problem that they face is of physical dependence and absent mindedness. Physically dependence increases with age grows and also they tend to forget things. This may however prove dangerous as they have to deal with things like gas, electricity, etc. on a daily basis.

Science over the years has found out solutions for this. It has come up with automation solutions keeping in mind the needs of the elderly. Various products are offered as a part of the automation solutions for the well-being of the senior citizens.

There are automated solutions available for operating electrical devices. Remote Control is a solution meant for operating electrical devices at home. Electrical devices such as lights, fans, air conditioners can be operated with the help of a Remote Control. This reduces their effort to operate the devices manually.

With age the physical activities of the seniors lessen down and many of them find it difficult to frequently switch on/off lights manually. The Remote Control in this case proves as a boon to them. It leads to decreased dependence on the caregiver and a feeling of satisfaction amongst the elderly.
Motion Sensor is another product which can be installed in the passageways, bathrooms, pantries, etc. The sensors automatically turn on/off based on the movement sensed over a predefined period. This eliminates manual turning on/off the lights and a solution for absentmindedness of elderly.

Panic buttons and emergency call buttons can be made use of in case of an emergency. Panic buttons when pressed sends a notification to the smartphone or tablet of the resident thereby allowing them to take immediate action.

In apartments and societies, you could also opt for a Central Monitoring System or a Facility Management System. The Central Monitoring System is used to monitor emergency calls or unexpected events occurring in the house. The Facility Management System is also used to address issues related to the facility management e.g., lift not working, issues with AC or kitchen drainage etc.
Then there are smoke sensors which rings an alarm when any smoke is detected. This helps to control situations in case of a fire breakout.

Elderly people many a times forget to put off the knob of the gas, which may result in dangerous situations. The gas sensors can work as a life saver here. Not only does it warn the resident but also the Facility Management Staff. It raises an alarm so that the Facility Management Staff can take necessary action.

Also for people who wish to monitor activities of their elders can install IP Cameras at homes. This camera can connect wirelessly to any WiFi or to the internet for viewing via the Smart App. The camera is able to automatically record the activity when any sensor is triggered in the room. This helps the person who is monitoring to take necessary action regarding the same.

These products and more are offered by various companies, one of them being BuildTrack. To know more about the company and products please visit https://www.buildtrack.in/.

Etch memories forever with your hospitality

Seeing happy and contented faces is the aim of hotels all around. However, it is a tough job. To make someone happy, to fulfill all the demands, to provide them with the services they want, etc. is not as easy as it seems. A few tips to guide you strike the right cord with the customer.

Automate

Automation is the key. The latest craze in the market has taken the industry by storm. To be in the rat race, you always have to be updated. You have to know what’s going on in the industry and what are your competitors doing. The best thing about automation solutions are that, they are affordable and can be installed in a couple of hours. It is a no mess solution with easy usage.

Personalize the guest

The guest is the King here. A happy and satisfied customer in turn leads to good reviews and good publicity for the hotel. A hotel is known by the service it provides. The service adds another dimension to the hotel’s reputation. Learn to identify the customer’s need and win over them.

The customer’s wish is your command

Customer is everything. The customer would only be happy if every demand and expectations of his/her are met. It may be a simple request for a room service or to make up his/her room. Don’t hesitate to go forward and ask whether they are happy with the service. If they are not, ask them what would make them feel good. Go an extra mile to show how valuable they are.

Be a Trendsetter

Have your own concept. Don’t ape others. If you do so, people won’t relate to your hotel but would always be ready to compare. Give them a taste of your individuality which would always work as a trump card for you. People today look forward to vacations with families and spending some quality with their loved ones. At this point of time it is necessary to offer them services that they might not have experienced before.

IP Cameras – A reliable support

I am a working professional and don’t get home early. So I have made sure that I keep a watch over my home remotely from my office. My in laws take care of my child as they are apprehensive about the child being brought up in a secure environment.

I have installed IP Cameras at my home which is positioned in a way where I can monitor all the activities in the house. My in laws can take care of my child but are physically less active so they can’t take immediate action in case of an emergency. So we thought that it would be a wise decision to install an IP Camera at home so that we could monitor all the activities and take action in case of an emergency.

Believe me this was the wisest decision we took. For, we always had a habit of monitoring what’s going on at home. My son used to come from school then carry out his daily routine which included having his food, taking a nap, doing his homework and then going to the playground to play. This was his favorite part of the day. We both would regularly watch over his activities.
Then we suggested that the children could come and play in our house itself. This way all the children would be playing in a secure environment. This was a daily routine for the kids. The kids used to play and my in laws used to look after them. One day as the children were playing, my father in law started getting chest pain and collapsed on the floor. Seeing this my mother in law went into a state of shock and fell on the floor too. The children could not understand anything and started crying.

As it was my routine to keep a watch on the children’s activities, I thought of checking in what’s going on at our place. To my shock I saw my in laws collapsed on the floor and the children crying. I immediately called my husband and we rushed home. While on the way, we called the ambulance and made sure not to panic in front of the kids.

We were just thanking our stars. The IP Cameras had saved my in laws and the children. When I shared this with other parents, they too got IP Cameras installed in their homes from where they could monitor the daily activities of their loved ones. These IP Cameras really were the eyes watching over the children.

I bought the camera from one Indian company named BuildTrack. They seem to be a leader in automation solutions. For more info, visit http://www.buildtrack.in/.
